Create Dynamic Merchandising Queries
EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT > MERCHANDISING
Dynamic merchandizing queries allow you to create specific conditions that products need to meet in order to be included in a given product collection. Once a query is created, it generates a list of products that meet its criteria. In the future, any new products that meet these criteria will automatically be added to that list. This is different from product sets, which must be updated manually.
Dynamic merchandising queries can be created using the catalog structure and facets.
The dynamic merchandising queries that you create in the Merchandising section can be added to a content page on your website.
Example: You can select a sub category such as "shoes" and a facet such as "black" to refine the merchandising query results. You can then create a content page using this query that would display either all of the black shoes or a preview of them with a Read More link, depending on your chosen display parameters.
